We are working as hard as we can to find modified service options that are safe for our staff and customers. Until then, here are some food resources that you can utilize now:
- Our partners at Pinnacle Prevention have compiled a comprehensive list of food system resources that is updated regularly. - Food banks have lots of food right now. They are in need of volunteers, but many food bank locations are open. To find a food bank near you, please go here.
- The $20 per day Double Up Food Bucks limit has been waived at all active redemption locations, including at participating farmer's markets. More information about these sites as well as school meal programs can be found here.
- The Arizona Area Agency on Aging provides some food resources for seniors. You can call the 24-Hour Senior HELP LINE at 602-264-HELP (4357), Toll Free at 888-264-2258. For the hard of hearing and deaf, TEXT (520) 775-1899. - Good Food Finder AZ has compiled a list of current food delivery/food pick-up options from local farmers and food producers. Find that resource here.
- There is also a list being updated daily regarding the current farmer's markets in the Valley that are planning on being open this weekend (albeit with some modifications). That list can be found here. We hope these resources are helpful to you. Please share with your community members and neighbors. We will share any updates about our service on our website as soon as they become available.
